AnaVation Continues to Enhance its 2020 Internship Program
AnaVation strives to maintain a culture that fosters continued growth at both a personal and professional level for every “AnaVator”. AnaVation continually enhances its internship program and offers students the opportunity to learn in a collaborative and innovative environment. The program started in 2016 with 3 students and has expanded significantly along with AnaVation. This year AnaVation is proud to welcome 14 new interns. In addition, we will welcome back 3 returning students who are participating in the program for a second year. We are also very excited to announce that we have six former interns joining AnaVation as full-time employees this spring.
The program recruits rising college juniors and seniors from universities such as the University of Maryland, Penn State, Christopher Newport University, James Madison University, George Mason University, and Virginia Tech. In summer 2019 our interns were able to receive mentorship from AnaVation’s engineering team who developed several tools used by the IC to provide non-attribution or tradecraft tools. One site is a Phonebooth site which allows for the adoption and the spoofing of telephone numbers all over the world. The Intern project team was responsible for TLC and cleanup of the web interface, in addition they had the opportunity to build some additional features and a smartphone application interface.
