Chad’s journey with AnaVation began in 2020 when he joined as a Computer Science Intern during our Summer Internship Program. His first major project was developing an AWS SNS/SQS replacement using Kafka. This challenging task honed his technical skills and introduced him to AnaVation’s collaborative and innovative spirit.
After his internship, Chad transitioned to a full-time role as a Full Stack Developer managing both backend and frontend programming for various websites. He works with multiple frameworks and technologies like Spring Boot, Flask, Next.JS, and Angular, and has developed strong skills in AWS cloud services for hosting and deployment.
One of the highlights of Chad’s time at AnaVation has been participating in our company’s events, particularly the annual holiday party. These gatherings provide a wonderful opportunity for Chad to connect with coworkers, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and appreciate the beautiful venues.
The positive work environment and the exceptional people he works with are what have kept Chat at AnaVation. “AnaVation treats me well and is filled with people who are not only bright but also a pleasure to be around. My fellow AnaVators are all really kind and pleasant people I really enjoy working with” he shares. The flexibility to flex his hours has been instrumental in balancing his work and personal life. Moreover, the opportunities available within the company, such as mentoring within the internship program, have allowed Chad to grow and contribute in meaningful ways.
Chad speaks highly of his supervisors and colleagues, who have been a source of support and encouragement. “My coworkers and supervisors always have my back, and I can fully rely upon them. They are always looking out for me, and my career growth, and throwing me options all along the way. My supervisors make me feel right at home in my job while only asking what more they can do for me” he emphasizes.
Adaptability has been a significant skill that Chad has developed since joining AnaVation. During his internship, he was introduced to Kafka and other tools that were initially unfamiliar to him. Through asking questions, conducting research, and seeking guidance, Chad mastered these technologies. This experience boosted his confidence and readiness to embrace new challenges and technologies head-on for contracts.
AnaVation’s commitment to employee well-being extends beyond the workplace. The tuition assistance program has greatly aided Chad in paying off student loan debt. Additionally, access to the Calm app has provided a valuable resource for relaxation and stress management. The flexibility in work hours enables Chad to attend to personal matters and appointments without compromising his professional responsibilities.
