There are two main things I think of when I think about this internship and that is the amount I was able to learn and how much I enjoyed AnaVation's culture. The amount of realistic experience the internship provides for the workspace is so valuable and the breadth of skills I worked on in the process of developing our project last year was so beneficial. And the amazing atmosphere of the company overall, people I've worked with, and events I went to were equally valuable.

After more than a year at AnaVation, I have learned many skills and practices about the development world, allowing me to apply my skills more quickly and effectively than ever before.

I would definitely recommend this internship program to other students. It was a great combination of honing the skills I already had in a professional environment and having the opportunity to learn new skills, tools, and technologies I hadn’t been exposed to before. I also learned a lot about AnaVation as a company through mentorship, meetings with technical engineers, and lunch-and-learn sessions. Overall, it was a really fun and collaborative experience.

What surprised me the most about the internship was how willing people were to help. My mentor was able to break things down and relieved a lot of the pressure I had early on. I felt that I could be transparent and ask for help whenever I needed it. Not to mention, my product owner was also very flexible throughout the process while still keeping elements of the projects challenging and engaging, allowing us to learn how to choose different approaches and research new technologies to try out.

After watching AnaVation adapt to all the challenges that came with 2020, I knew this company valued each employee and considered interns an investment for the future.

I’d highlight the hackathon and my experience with my team. It not only allowed me to meet new individuals but also exposed me to diverse working styles. AnaVation provides a dynamic learning environment where interns are encouraged to explore their interests and contribute meaningfully.

There was always something to learn from everyone. I believe that AnaVation’s top priority was to see the interns grow and learn over the summer, and they put everyone in a great position to do so. Having a mentor and many different people to go to for guidance was incredibly helpful. The projects were interesting while being challenging enough for us to really think and grow.

My time interning at AnaVation has provided me with so much insight, knowledge, and technical skill to venture into the professional world. The company is a very open and supportive community with mentors who are eager to help you learn and thrive in the field. Having done two prior internships with the company, I've gained so much exposure to new software and tech concepts, which has made me more confident in the work I'll do in the future.

During my internship at AnaVation, I had the chance to dive into exciting projects that really boosted my skills and understanding of the industry. The mentors were amazing, always there to help and guide me through any challenges. Plus, the fun and friendly company culture made every day enjoyable, creating great memories and friendships along the way.
