Chris Hamilton

Chris is a 30-year industry veteran, having held executive and leadership positions at both large and small companies in the national security sector.  He has a proven track record of successfully steering organizations through periods of major growth and transformation and generating meaningful value for shareholders.

Prior to AnaVation, Chris joined a small company in 2010 as its Chief Operating Officer and in 2013 was named the company’s President.  Over 15 years, he led a period of rapid and sustained growth, guiding the organization through two acquisitions.  Previously, he served as Deputy Director for a research division of Georgetown University, focused on science, technology, and operations research for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).

A graduate of Hofstra University in New York, Chris was the top-ranked ROTC cadet at the University and was commissioned as an Army intelligence officer.  For over a decade, he served in a variety of command and staff positions, as well as national intelligence roles at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).
