Scott Pugmire

Scott brings 20 years of experience in both building and breaking technology ranging from large enterprise applications to small embedded systems, when it comes to breaking nothing is sacred. His experience grew from developing tools, to managing a multi-million-dollar R&D PNL with cutting edge solutions in reverse engineering, vulnerability research, and CNO products. When not hyper focused on technology stacks, you can find him out on the golf course trying to stop coming over the top in the downswing. Scott earned a master’s degree in computer engineering from George Mason University, where he is sometimes spotted proudly in the Mason Nation supporting the GMU men’s volleyball team.

Scott began his careers serving our country enlisting in the US Air Force in 2003. After leaving the service, he has worked in several small companies in the Northern Virginia area focused on offensive computing, prior to coming to Anavation he was Vice President of Emerging Technologies at Occam’s Razor Technologies, which was acquired by Avantus Federal Services, and later Qinetiq US.  He currently is Anavation’s Chief Engineer of Offensive Computing, leading and mentoring the next generation of hacking talent.
